Lady Lions Take Two Out of Three District Games

The Lady Lions softball team was busy this past week with three big district 14-AA games. The Lady Lions were on the road in all three games and won two of those games. On Tuesday, the Lady Lions took on Adamsville, and after a back and forth start, Scotts Hill took control. In the top of the first inning, Hallie Beecham doubled, and Shayla Phillips brought her in with a single, to give Scotts Hill an early 1-0 lead. However, in the bottom of the first inning, Adamsville picked up two runs and took the lead. Scotts Hill tied the game in the top of the second, however…
