Caywood LMS Celebrate Special Olympics

Ribbons bouncing next to hearts, banners snapping in the breeze and trophies gleamed in the sun while classes from Caywood Elementary and Lexington Middle School celebrated a great day at the Special Olympics at the Beech Lake playground. Retha Wood’s LMS class won First Place in the banner contest, which Jonna Cooper’s Caywood class took Second. The classes also participated that day in the fifty-meter run and the softball throw.
