City Board to Employment Ordinance in Two Weeks

After an attempt to pass the first reading of a new ordinance outlining the hiring process for new city employees failed on September 15th, the Lexington Board of Aldermen will try again in two weeks.
Some aldermen did not get an updated version of the ordinance until Monday afternoon prior to the meeting and did not have the enough time to fully examine the changes.
