LHS Football Kicker, Arness “The Toe” Henry Laid to Rest

In the late 1970s he was known to Lexington High School Big Red Tiger football fans as “The Golden Toe” or simply “The Toe.” Archie Arness Henry, 65, passed away recently on June 1st. Henry graduated from LHS in 1976 and won all conference honors as the team’s place kicker, two years in a row. During the 1974-75 season Henry was perfect, never missing an extra point.
