Deputies Make History with First All-Female Shift

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office made local history recently with the first all-female patrol shift. When Sgt. Amber Wood (center) stepped in for a half shift as supervisor, she joined deputies Bethany Parker (left) and Abby Lanford (right) to form the first all-females patrol shift on December 10th.
