The Henderson County Sherriff’s Deputy to Run for a Cause

Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Zukowski is collecting teddy bears and running in the Andrew Jackson Half Marathon, in April.

Henderson County’s Brian Zukowski will be running for a “Beary” good cause, Saturday, April 1st.
Zukowski has entered the Andrew Jackson half Marathon in Jackson, which is benefiting the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the prevention of Child Abuse.
Lexington Police Department officer Cody Moore is also running in this year’s event.
This is the third year Deputy Zukowski has run in the event. Zukowski started running several years ago, just to get into shape. Besides the Andrew Jackson Marathon, Zukowski has run in the Treasure Coast Marathon, the Chicago Marathon and the Boston Marathon. He plans on competing again in this year’s Chicago Marathon.
