LHS Tigers Fall in Close Game to Chester County

The Lexington Tigers basketball club matched up with the Chester County Eagles this past Friday, February 10. The Tigers wanted to add one more win to their regular-season record. The Tigers could not secure the victory over the Eagles. Lexington lost by only two points with a final score of 52-54.

The Tigers started out the first quarter by scoring 12 points, while the Eagles posted 15 of their own. In the second quarter, the Tigers had a 10-point quarter as they held Chester County to nine points. The Tigers were trailing heading into halftime by two points with a score of 22–24. The third quarter saw Lexington accumulate 16 points, and the Eagles had 17. Lexington added 14 points to their total, and Chester County posted 13 points in the fourth quarter. The Tigers outscored the Eagles in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to get the win.
