Tigers Get Big Win over McNairy

The Lexington Tigers basketball team hosted the McNairy County Bobcats this past Friday, January 27. The Tigers were looking to get a win after a tough loss in their last game against Hardin County. The Tigers came out of this game with a big win over McNairy and got themselves back in the win column. The final score of the contest was 63-59 in favor of Lexington.
The Tigers scored 16 points in the first quarter, but the Bobcats came out of the quarter with the lead after scoring 17. Lexington netted 15 more points in the second quarter, and McNairy scored 20 more points, adding to their lead. The Tigers went into halftime trailing by six points with a score of 31-37. In the third quarter, Lexington made a run to take the lead by scoring 22 points and holding the Bobcats to only 12. In the final quarter of play, Lexington and McNairy both added 10 points apiece to their totals, giving the Tigers the four-point win.
