Lady Tigers Get Blown Out by Lady Bobcats

The Lexington Lady Tigers basketball club hosted the McNairy County Lady Bobcats last Friday, January 27. The Lady Tigers wanted to make it their third win in a row after a big win over Hardin County the last time they were on the court. Unfortunately, the Lady Tigers were unable to keep the streak alive and were defeated by the Lady Bobcats. Lexington was defeated 29–59 in the end.

The Lady Tigers started the game with their worst quarter, scoring only four points and giving up 19 points to the Lady Bobcats. In the second quarter, Lexington accumulated eight points but gave up 16 more points to McNairy. The Lady Tigers went to halftime trailing by 23 points with a score of 12-35. The start of the second half saw the Lady Tigers post 11 points while the Lady Bobcats scored 17. In the fourth quarter, Lexington netted six points while McNairy added seven more to their total, giving the Lady Bobcats the win over the Lady Tigers.
