City Board Approves Second of Three Industrial Site Bids

The Lexington City Board approved the second of three separate bids to prepare sites at the Timberlake Industrial Park, during the board’s monthly session, January 23rd.

Lexington split the site preparation projects between three boards: the Joint Economic and Community Development Board (JECDB), Lexington Board of Aldermen, and the Lexington Industrial Development Boards.

Aldermen approved the bid of Ward Contracting for $425,542. The company was the lowest of the four bids received. Two other companies did not submit a bid.
