SH Lady Lions Win Streak Ends

The Scotts Hills Lady Lions basketball program has been on a tear since the start of 2023. Scotts Hill hosted the Chester County Lady Eagles last Friday, January 20. The Lady Lions had just beaten their in-county rival Lexington Lady Tigers the night before and were on a five-game win streak. The Lady Lions were looking to make it their sixth win in a row over the Lady Eagles, but Chester County had other plans. The Lady Lions’ win streak finally came to an end after losing to the Lady Eagles with a final score of 30-37.
The Scotts Hill Lady Lions started the game by accumulating eight points to the Lady Eagle’s 12 in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Scotts Hill added seven points to their total, and the Lady Eagles scored six. The score heading into halftime saw Scotts Hill trailing by three with a score of 15-18.
