JECDB Approves Bids for Timberlake Site Development

The Joint Economic and Community Development Board (JECDB) approved a site development grant bid, January 17th.
The board also discussed a community development block grant and the development of board bylaws.
The board approved awarding the development of two sites to Ward Contracting. Of the four bids received, Ward was the lowest at $718, 688. The work will get the sites “pad ready” for a new industry.
Civil and Environmental Consultant, Inc. (CEC) recommended the low bid saying Ward had experience with site development, the City of Lexington, and appears capable of performing…
