Lady Tigers Blowout Liberty

The Lexington High School Lady Tigers basketball team was looking to get things back on track after a loss last Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers faced the Liberty Lady Crusaders last Friday, January 13. The Lady Tigers absolutely dominated the Lady Crusaders in this game and gave themselves a confidence boost. The final score of the contest had Lexington in the lead, 51-24.
The first quarter ended with the Lady Tigers recording four points to the Lady Crusaders’ ten. Lexington was able to add 14 points to their total in the second quarter while holding Liberty to only four points. The score heading into halftime was 18-14 in favor of the Lady Tigers. The second half began with Lexington’s best quarter, with them scoring 19 points, holding the Lady Crusaders to six points, and leading by 13 points heading into the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter saw the Lady Tigers put up another 14 points while Liberty scored only four, giving the Lady Tigers a big win over the Lady Crusaders.
