Lady Lions Close Win Over Adamsville

Last Tuesday, January 10, the Scotts Hill Lady Lions basketball program traveled to Adamsville to take on the Lady Cardinals. Scotts Hill was looking to get their second win in a row after beating Hardin County the night before. The game was close right up until the end, but the Lady Lions pulled off the one-point victory over Adamsville with a final score of 40-39.
The first quarter saw the Lady Lions record only eight points and Adamsville score 13 points. Scotts Hill came out of the second quarter with the lead, scoring 14 points and holding the Lady Cardinals to seven. Heading into halftime, the Lady Lions were ahead by two points. The Lady Lions came out at the start of the second half and scored 12 points and held the Lady Cardinals to 10. In the fourth quarter, the Lady Lions just held onto their lead for the win by scoring six points, while Adamsville recorded nine points in the quarter.
