Lady Lions Lose to the Lady Panthers

The Scotts Hill Lady Lions basketball program faced their rival Riverside Lady Panthers last Friday, January 6, at home. The Lady Lions were looking to get their first win of the new year, but the Lady Panthers did not allow that to happen. Scotts Hill lost the contest with a final score of 32-41.
The Lady Lions looked like they had this game in the bag after the first quarter, outscoring the Lady Panthers 17-5. In the second quarter, Scotts Hill only penciled in three points and allowed the Lady Panthers to add 11 points to their total. The score heading into halftime was 20-16, with Scotts Hill leading by four. The third quarter ended with the Lady Lions scoring seven points to Riverside’s ten.
