Henderson County elected new leadership, Lexington Electric System started a broadband internet project, local Henderson Countians celebrated achievements, and The Lexington Progress had new owners, as 2022 was a year of change.

Winter storms and snow welcomed Henderson Countians to 2022, and an artic blast of cold air closed the year, but in between a lot happened.

The COVID-19 virus is starting to become a memory, but the problems it brought are still being felt around the county. Many of the restrictions have been lifted and students have returned to a closer-to-normal school schedule.

Looking back at the past issues of The Lexington Progress, we can follow those changes.
