Lady Lions Win Two in a Row

After coming off a commanding victory over Middleton High School on December 15, the Scotts Hill Lady Lions turned their attention to Chester County High School. The Lady Lions were bound and determined not to overlook the Lady Eagles in this contest and put their hard work and practice into playing a tough game. Scotts Hill battled all game long and when the final buzzer sounded the team came out on top as Scotts Hill took the win, 36-34, making this their second consecutive victory.
The team dished out 11 overall assists in the game against Chester County. Scotts Hill turned the ball over six times but was able to record five steals in the victory as well. The Lady Lions added three blocks in the contest.
At the charity stripe, the Lady Lions attempted 13 total foul shots in the game against the Lady Eagles. Scotts Hill was able to make five of those.
Leading the way in scoring for the Lady Lions was Julie Hampton. She finished with a team high 23 points in the win. Jaden Scates followed her by posting nine points of her own. Both Mallory Puckett and Heather Bartholomew rounded out the scoring for Scotts Hill with two points apiece.
The team netted eight successful two-point shots in the game and finished with five made three-point baskets, as well.
