Jackson Symphony Brings Christmas Music to Lexington

The Jackson Symphony on the Move did just that, December 9, 2022, when the Symphony made the move from Lexington High School to the Princess Theatre for its Christmas Program. The program sponsored by Community Bank and FirstBank is part of the Festival of the Lights by the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce.

The Lexington Princess Theater stepped in to host the Jackson Symphony when a scheduling conflict prompted a move.

The Symphony on the Move was originally scheduled to appear at Lexington High School but was moved to the local theatre to avoid a conflict with a local basketball game.

The “Symphony on the Move” series was created in 2020 due to the COVID lockdown and continues to provide entertainment to the area.

This year’s Christmas program was presented by Community Bank and FirstBank.
