Dickson Meets Fans at Miss America Sendoff

Miss Tennessee greeted fans at her official sendoff to the Miss America competition. She is the first local contestant since 2017 to compete in the national event. This year will mark the 100th anniversary of the Miss America competition.

Miss Tennessee Lauren Dickson is headed to New York City later this week before going on to Connecticut to compete in the Miss America Competition.
Dickson was greeted by supporters, Sunday, December 4, 2022, at her official sendoff. She is the first local contestant since 2017 to compete in Miss America.
Dickson is in the top 5 of National Fundraising for Scholarships and was voted into the top 11 by America’s Choice.
“We want to wish Lauren well,” Joe Albright, the CEO of Miss Tennessee said.
This is the 100th year of Miss America and the 69th year of Miss Tennessee. She will start the competition on December 12th with her interview session.
