Lady Lions Basketball Wins Big On the Road

The Scotts Hill Lady Lions basketball program was on the road this past Monday evening, November 28, 2022, as the team took on Carroll Academy in Huntingdon, Tennessee. This matchup was a one-sided affair as the Lady Lions were able to post a big win on the night. Scotts Hill was too much for the Lady Jaguars to handle and the Lady Lions rolled to victory. The final score of the contest was in favor of Scotts Hill by a final score of 56-19.

Leading the team in scoring on the evening was the duo of Julie Hampton and Kaylin Wade. Each Lady Lion posted 14 points apiece in the win. Mallory Puckett scored six points and Ansley Scott added five points of her own. Both Charlee Ferrell and Jaden Scates netted four points each, and Deanna Pusser finished the night with three points for the Lady Lions. Brooklyn Wilkerson and Lacie Dunavant recorded two points apiece in the win, as well. Both Izzie Adams and Lily Peterson added one point each against the Lady Jaguars.

Scotts Hill went to the free throw line six times in the game and connected on three attempts on the night. The Lady Lions were successful in hitting 16 two-point shots and added another seven baskets from behind the three-point line.
