Hygiene Stations to be Completed Soon for Homeless

Construction is nearly complete on a Homeless Hygiene Station being built at the Shepard’s House Church.

The local homeless will soon have a place to wash clothes and get clean thanks to volunteers and a local church.
Local Pastor Miles Roberts has organized The Henderson County Homeless Coalition to help those that want help in trying to survive our streets.
Roberts said the Hygiene Stations should be open by the first of the year.
Workers have been converting a former picnic pavilion behind the Shepherd’s House Ministry on Spring Street into a bath house for the homeless. The facility is not a shelter but will have showers and a laundry room.
