Henderson County Commissioners will once again to try and tackle a proposed health and safety standards regulations of both residential and non-residential property when they meet November 8th.

The issue was discussed last month, but postponed as commissioners wanted to study the wording of the proposal. The resolution outlines how the county can manage abandoned and overgrown property.

A separate seven-member committee or board would have to be established. The commission is expected to approve the appointment of that committee.

Also on the agenda is the discussion of a public records request policy, budget amendments for the Board of Education and Henderson County government, appointment to the Finance Committee, and discussion of relocation of the election commission office.
