SH Girls’ Soccer Win Over Wayne County

Scotts Hill Lady Lions soccer traveled to Wayne County on September 13, 2022, to face the Wayne County Lady Lions for the second time this season. The match ended up being a cat fight and ultimately Scotts Hill High School took the victory after the 80th minute expired. The final score of the match came to be 4-2, in favor of the Lady Lions soccer program.

The SHHS Lady Lions had several shots on goal by multiple players including Katelyn Cross, Julie Hampton, Addison Cameron, Layla Adams, Brenda Plascencia, and Kiersten Perry. The team recorded multiple steals in the match from Liberty Knowles, Charlotte Lansing, Jordan Hampton, Tesla Pollock, Brenda Plascencia, and Lillian Richardson.

Leading the Lady Lions in goals scored was Kiersten Perry, who secured two goals in the win. Emma Johnson and Julie Hampton each scored one goal for Scotts Hill as well.

All players rotated in and out of the game at various intervals for a successful team victory. Scotts Hill has an overall record of 6-2, after this win, and a district record of 3-1.
