LHS Volleyball Team Takes Down Bolivar

The Lexington High School Lady Tigers volleyball team was back in action in a road match against Bolivar Central High School last week. This match was played on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Lexington was coming off a win and looking to ride the momentum into this matchup as well. The Lady Tigers picked right back up where the team left off and completed another victory for the program. Lexington took the win over Bolivar in three straight sets, 25-10, 25-9, and 25-16.
Senior Kylie Atchison was the assist leader for Lexington with 29 recorded assists in the win. Ellie Smith led the Lady Tigers in kills with 18 and was followed by Aubrey Hart with five. Atchison, Stella Huber, and Kenzie Reeves each finished with four kills apiece. Gracie Bromley and Jenna Odle both had two kills against Bolivar.
Stella Huber would lead the team in blocks with one. Aubrey Hart, Kenzie Reeves, and Smith each had four digs to place atop the team stats for Lexington in the match also. Emmy Corbitt followed her three teammates with three digs of her own.
Corbitt and Stella Huber would also lead Lexington in aces as both Lady Tiger players finished with four each in the match. Aubrey Hart, Kenzie Reeves, and Ellie Smith all recorded…
