Lady Tigers Complete Back to Back Wins

Last week, the Lexington High School Lady Tigers volleyball team had two district matches back to back. In winning the first match against Bolivar, Lexington was looking to secure their second consecutive win in district play on the week. The Lady Tigers would welcome Chester County to their home gym in hopes of staying undefeated in district play. Lexington would have no problem with the Lady Eagles as the Lady Tigers took the win in three straight sets, 25-8, 25-10, and 25-22.
The team was led in kills by Stella Huber with 13. She was followed by Ellie Smith who recorded 12 kills of her own. Kenzie Reeves finished the match with four kills. Both Kylie Atchison and Gracie Bromley recorded two kills each. The duo of Emmy Corbitt and Aubrey Hart notched one kill apiece.
Kylie Atchison led the team in assists with 29. Kenzie Reeves also recorded one assist for the Lady Tigers in the win.
The trio of Stella Huber, Ellie Smith, and Kenzie Reeves all recorded one block each against Chester County.
