American Legion Post 77 Honored First Responders and Veterans on 9/11

American Legion Post 77 Riders honored local first responders and veterans during its 9/11 memorial ride on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

American Legion Tennessee Department Commander Lanny Culver reminded those attending the ride about the significance of the day.

The theme of the ride was “May We Never Forget 09/11/2001!” Twenty-one years ago, 2,996 persons died in the attack on the twin towers of the world trade center, the Pentagon, and the crash of United Airlines flight 93.

The riders made stops by the Lexington Fire and Police Departments to thank first responders.
