New Campground Under Construction at Sycamore Lake

The Beech River Watershed Development Authority is working to add improvements to Sycamore Lake through a public/private partnership.
Construction crews with Vista Recreation are in the process of installing campsites on the east side of Sycamore Lake. Vista Recreation has partnered with other public agencies at the federal, state, and local levels to operate campgrounds and recreation areas nationwide.
“The site will have five two-bedroom cabins,” said Keith Wish, Executive Director of the BRWDA. “There will be 40 conventional RV sites.”
