Lady Tigers Take Down South Side

The Lexington High School Lady Tigers volleyball team has been on a roll as of late. The team is playing some very good volleyball at the moment and getting production from all sorts of players in their recent string of success. Lexington headed to Jackson, Tennessee on Thursday, August 25, to take on South Side in a district matchup. The Lady Tigers kept the wins coming as the team was victorious over the Lady Hawks in three straight sets, 25-21, 25-17, and 25-20.

Kylie Atchison was the leader on the team in assists, with 25. Emmy Corbitt and Ellie Smith each had one assist apiece as well. Smith also collected 15 kills. Stella Huber recorded five kills to go along with Atchison’s and Kenzie Reeves three kills each. Gracie Bromley and Emmy Corbitt both had one kill also.
