Lady Tigers Split Games in Tri-Match

While the Lexington Lady Tigers Volleyball team opened the season with a win over in-county rival Scotts Hill to begin the season, the Lady Tigers entered a tri-match against Dyer County and Madison Academic the following day. That match was played last Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Lexington would secure a win over Madison Academic in two straight sets, 25-15 and 26-24. Then, the Lady Tigers fell to Dyer County in three sets, 18-25, 25-17, and 15-25.
In the match against Madison Academic, the Lady Tigers were led in assists by Kylie Atchison with 19. The leader in kills was Ellie Smith with 11, followed by Atchison with four, Stella Huber with three, and Aubrey Hart with two. Kenzie Reeves collected one kill for Lexington, also.
Ellie Smith would lead the team in blocks with three and Aubrey Hart finished with one block against Madison. In digs, the Lady Tigers were led by Kylie Atchison with six and Emmy Corbitt collected four. Stella Huber recorded three digs, followed by…
