Lady Lions Have Success in Tri-Match

The Scotts Hill Lady Lions volleyball team was in action, in a tri-match, on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. The two opposing teams that came to Scotts Hill to compete were McNairy County and Gibson County. Scotts Hill volleyball saw some success during the contest, as the Lady Lions would defeat Gibson County and took the loss to McNairy County.
During the match against McNairy County, Scotts Hill would take the loss in two straight sets. The Lady Lions were defeated 19-25 and 22-25. Leading the team in assists against the Lady Bobcats was Bracyn Sullivan with nine assists. Haven Brawley recorded an assist for Scotts Hill, as well.
Brawley led the team in kills with five and also finished with two solo blocks. The team leader in digs for Scotts Hill was Addy Cook. She collected seven digs in the loss.
Haylee McFarland, Addy Cook, and Haven Brawley each recorded one ace apiece against McNairy County.
