Lexington Board Approves 2022-23 Budget

The Lexington Board of Aldermen gave final approval of the 2022-23 budget without raising taxes shortly afternoon Friday, July 29, 2022.
Aldermen Fred Ellis and Gabe Williams were absent. The meeting was held at mid-day on Friday to conform with the 10-day public notice requirement.
The board had met on Monday, July 25, 2022, and decided to cut the budget holding the tax rate at the same level as 2022-22.
