The Lexington High School Lady Tigers volleyball team participated in their annual team camp last week on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, July 14th – 16th. This is always a good time to have team building skills and fine tune everyone’s attributes that each girl can bring to the team. Lexington has had a recent string of success on the volleyball court in the last couple of years and this year is no exception. The Lady Tigers are looking to make a run at the state title this season and the work has already started in trying to achieve that feat.
Heading into camp, the team had two goals the program wanted to set out to complete. One was to help improve the younger player’s basic skills, as in serving, passing, and hitting. The other goal was to develop the best rotation for the entire team to be more effective, while also adding a few advanced plays into the mix.
