LHS Football Competes with North Side Indians

The Lexington High School Tigers football team got a chance to face off against competition from another school in West Tennessee on Monday, June 20, 2022. Lexington made their way into Jackson, Tennessee to compete in a 7-on-7 event with the North Side Indians football program. The summer heat has been an issue in recent weeks, so the event was held later in the evening, to have player safety at the forefront with no issues.
The coaching staff discussed heading into the competition against North Side that their main goal was to find out what player or players wanted to compete and battle through adversity during the contest. The coaches wanted to get a good look at the effort put in by all players to know exactly where everyone stood and wanted to contribute towards the team.
“Overall, the guys did that,” stated Hollingworth.
