LHS Band Holds Car Show to Raise Funds
The Lexington High School Band Boosters held their first car show at Beech Lake, Saturday, June 18, 2022. They hope to make this an annual event.

The Lexington High School Band held their first car show at Beech Lake, Saturday, June 18, 2022, to raise funds for their program. Over 30 vehicles participated in the show, which the band booster hopes to make an annual event.
“We want to make sure all children have the opportunity to participate in band no matter their financial situation.” Brenda Harris, the president of the LHS Band Boosters said.
Chelsea Wade, the vice president of the LHS Band Boosters said the money raised will go to new uniforms and instruments for those that cannot afford it.
