Adams Appeals Conviction in the Holly Bobo Case

Zach Adams is now awaiting a ruling on the appeal of his murder conviction in the Holly Bobo case. The Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals heard oral arguments on Adams appeal in Jackson, June 7, 2022.

Adams’ attorney, Jennifer Lynn Thompson of Nashville, said the appeal is based on the belief that Adams was wrongfully convicted with circumstantial evidence. “He’s wrongfully convicted,” Thompson stated. “The only evidence they had that tied him to the crime was the testimony from Jason Autry.”

The oral arguments were heard before a three-judge panel in Jackson. Judges Robert H. Montgomery, Timothy L. Easter, and Jill Bartee Ayers are expected to rule later this year.
