The Parkers Crossroads city commissioners approved the city’s 2022-2023 budget, Thursday, June 2, 2022.

The first reading of the $596,000 general fund budget was approved by Mayor Kenneth Kizer, Vice Mayor Jamie Simonton, and commissioner Tony Hardee. The state street aid fund was $37,600.

The city uses its portion of state shared taxes to fund the budget so there is no property tax for city residents. The board will meet Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 8 a.m. for the second and final reading of its budget.
