Chamber Director Updates Rotary Club On Activities

The Executive Director of the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, Melissa Gilbert updated Lexington Rotary Club members on the activities of the Chamber during the club’s weekly meeting, Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
Among the latest project, the Chamber has partnered with the Tennessee Department of Tourism to make sure Google information is correct for local businesses. The state will conduct an audit and submit correct information to Google. If someone is needing to have their information, hours, photos and contact information corrected they can also contact Gilbert at the Chamber.
They are also working with the school system and the Learn and Earn Partnership Program (LEPP). LEPP’s focus is to assist young men and women who are motivated to succeed, have a desire to learn and grow and who are reliable, dependable, trustworthy, and ready to go to work.
