The West TN Bass High School championship was held this past Saturday, May 14, 2022, on Pickwick Lake.
The Scotts Hill Student Angler team of JD Stack and Eli Blankenship placed 14th in the tournament and finished with an overall spot of 6th place in the points race, out of over 300 high school teams that have competed in the division this year.
Scotts Hill Student Anglers have four high school teams, including the team of JD Stack and Eli Blankenship, that are qualified to fish in the state championship. The other three teams are Carson Cooper and Chase Stubblefield, Brayden Branson and Shane Woods, and Lane Tims and Zach Hudgens.
Their coach, Nick Hart, would like to wish all the teams good luck in the state championship that will be held at Paris Landing on June 3rd and 4th. With good results during that tournament, some of these teams can qualify for the High School National Championship.
