Congratulations to all of Lexington High School’s tennis players for their performance in the district 14 tournaments. The players competed in the district singles and doubles tournament last Thursday, May 5, and Friday, May 6, 2022.
Avery Pace made the All-District Team for girls’ singles. Megan Wood and Morgan Wood made the All-District Team for girls’ doubles.
Meet Patel made the All-District Team for boys’ singles and finished runner-up in the district for singles. Meet will compete in the regional tournament to be held Monday, May 16th, at the Jackson Tennis Complex.
The Lexington girls’ team kept their season alive by winning the district 14 girls’ team championship. The team will compete tomorrow, Thursday, May 12, in Jackson, Tennessee against Rossview High School, a school located in Clarksville, Tennessee. This match will be for the regional championship. Community members and supporters, if you see these team members, please congratulate all the players, and wish them luck as they move on.
