HCSD Holds D.A.R.E. Graduation at Beaver Elementary

Henderson County Sheriff Brian Duke, along with Deputy/School Resource Officer Brian Vineyard, were special guests at Beaver Elementary School on Monday, May 9, 2022.
“It’s been about twelve years since the last D.A.R.E graduation event in Henderson County,” said Sheriff Brian Duke. “It’s something I’ve wanted and pushed for, and the funding just wasn’t available for a program that I feel was essential in our battle against drugs. This year, there was an opportunity for free training, and three deputies volunteered to go.”
