Scotts Hill Softball Walks Off Against Lady Tigers

Last week, the Scotts Hill High School Lady Lions softball team hosted the Bolivar Central softball program at Scotts Hill High School on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Scotts Hill surely gave the crowd a memory to talk about for the many years to come. In a back-and-forth game, the Lady Lions were not willing to surrender a defeat and showcased their pure will to win against Bolivar. Coming down to the last batter, Scotts Hill found a way to win the game. The Lady Lions defeated Bolivar, 5-4.

The game started with the Lady Lions scoring one run in the bottom of the first inning, before allowing Bolivar to tie things up in the top of the second inning. Scotts Hill retook the lead in the bottom of the second inning with one run. Bolivar bounced back and went ahead with two runs in the top of the third inning and another run in the top of the fourth inning. Scotts Hill cut into the lead with another run in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Lady Lions added one more run in the bottom of the sixth inning and then in their last at bat, with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning, Karley Bedwell drew a walk to walk-off the game and…
