Lexington Fire Department Responds to Brush Fire
A brush fire was brought under control by the Lexington Fire Department along Jamie Lynn Drive.

Crews from the Lexington Fire Department responded around 8:00 p.m. to a brush fire reported along Jamie Lynn Drive.
A pumper and brush truck were dispatched and brought the fire under control, and monitored to ensure that it did not re-catch.
The property owner had a permit to burn from the county, but the fire escaped the confines of the yard. There was no injury or building property damage.
