Traveling into Manchester, Tennessee over the past weekend, saw the Lady Tigers in action with two games Friday evening, April 22, 2022. Lexington had their first game against Hazel Green (AL) and then competed with Rockvale to close the evening of games that were played. Hazel Green answered immediately with a run in the top of the third inning. Lexington scored the deciding run in the bottom of the fourth inning, as that would be all the team needed for the win.
Kinley Melton led the Lady Tigers as she finished 1 for 1. Cadey McDaniel was 2 for 3 in the game, while recording an RBI. Both Shay Hollingsworth and Mykenzi Duke each finished 1 for 3 for Lexington.
McDaniel and Duke each reached safely on a double in the contest. The team had a total of five stolen bases. Leading the team was Madison Middleton with two stolen bases. Holly Bartholomew, Kylie Waldrep, and Shay Hollingsworth each..
