The Henderson County Joint Economic Community Development Board met on Wednesday morning, April 20, 2022, at the Lexington Utilities Operations Facility on Maple Street.

Lexington Mayor Jeff Griggs discussed the need for a housing study. As the Henderson County Commission had paid for the Parks Master Plan required by the state, the Lexington Board of Aldermen agreed to pay for a county-wide housing study as those who live in the county often come to Lexington for work and for shopping.
