Eagle Scout Project Provides Flags at Beech Lake Stage Area

Seth Blair and Adrian Munoz, of Lexington Boy Scout Troop #4031, visited the Lexington City Board of Alderman meeting on January 18, 2022, and made a presentation for their Eagle Scout project. Seth’s project was a US flag pole at the side of the Beech Lake stage, and Adrian’s was to place a state flag pole at the other side of the stage.  The total project cost is estimated at around $3,600.00.

Lexington Mayor Jeff Griggs helped them get in contact with BRWDA, and the project was completed on March 29, 2022. The two young men should officially be Eagle Scouts on April 11th after they attend their Board of Review. They started their scouting career together as…
