LHS Softball Stays Undefeated on Season

Finishing up play in the Southern Warrior Classic, Lexington High School Lady Tigers softball had their minds set on winning the games left in the tournament and heading back home undefeated. Lexington had one final game on Friday, March 25, 2022, against Bryant (AR) and then the Lady Tigers would face White House and Rockvale Saturday afternoon, March 26. With their goal in mind, Lexington set out in accomplishing that by not losing a game the entire time in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at the Southern Warrior Classic.

In the team’s last game on Friday, March 25, the Lady Tigers competed against Bryant (AR) as Lexington was looking to stay undefeated in tournament play. The Lady Tigers found themselves in a tougher battle than previous games, but ultimately the same result concluded at the end of the game. Lexington won this matchup by a final of 7-4.

The Hornets took an early lead with one run plated in the top of the second inning. Lexington responded by posting six runs in the bottom of the third inning.
