Seven-year-old Avery Blankenship became the youngest member of the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, March 24, 2022. Following his front page story in the March 23rd edition of The Lexington Progress and a near viral following on Facebook, Avery has become a local hero and sensation.
“I am proud to have this young entrepreneur!,” said Chamber Executive Director Melissa Gilbert. “He’s already got media experience, an assistant, ready to help recruit new members for the Chamber, and has a heart of gold!”
