Dr. Claudia Chapman Addresses Rotary on Women in the Civil War

Dr. Claudia Chapman was the special guest speaker for the February 22, 2022 meeting of the Lexington Rotary Club. She has retired after 33 years as a chiropractor, but one of her deep loves is with Civil War re-enacting, and studying the life of women during the war.
She is a member of the Army of Tennessee, a member of the Tennessee Order of the Confederate Rose, and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. With the Confederate Rose, a lineage is not necessary, and the group emphasizes the true history of the war and of the soldiers on both sides. The Army of Tennessee is a re-enactment group that portrays men and women on both sides. Claudia even serves on an artillery piece owned by her friend Gloria Holloway Sibert.
