Lady Tigers Collect Win Over Lady Lions

As the team made their way into Regan, Tennessee this past Saturday evening to face off against their in-county rival Scotts Hill, the Lady Tigers were looking to revenge an earlier season loss to the same team. Lexington knew that it would be a tough atmosphere in playing on the road here. That did not faze the Lady Tigers, as the team was well aware of what it needed to do in order to achieve their goal. Lexington stayed the course and, in the end, won the game by a final score of 40-36.

The top scoring performer for the Lady Tigers was Sarah Simmons who recorded 13 points in the win. Both Diamond Holland and Jadyn Yarbro each collected eight points apiece as well. The duo of Callie McDonald and Kylie Waldrep scored four points each. Candance Butler netted two points against Scotts Hill and Alaysia Belew ended her night with one point in the game.

Lexington scored nine points in the first quarter to start the contest. Scotts Hill was able to score 12 points in the opening quarter, as well. The Lady Tigers came back and recorded seven points in the second quarter and held Scotts Hill to only grabbing six points before halftime. In the third quarter…
