New Sign at Beech Lake for Tyler Spann Promotes Water Safety

The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, along with BRWDA, and the Tyler Spann Foundation, dedicated a new sign at the Beech Lake swimming area on Monday, January 17, 2022.

Tyler, who was a victim of a riptide at age 15, was a much loved athlete and figure in Henderson County. Others were benefitted through his tissue donations, and the Tyler Spann Foundation was organized to help promote water education and safety.
